FROM MANTONS', the breech block engraved with game-birds and with twin platinum lines, platinum vent, scroll engraved top-tang, border and scroll engraved lock and hammer, the signature 'CHARLES FISHER LONDON' running around the top edge of lock bar, birdseye maple half-stock chequered at the wrist, silver escutcheon to toe initialled 'R.P.R.', iron heel-plate and trigger-guard, white metal barrel-key escutcheons and horn fore-end tip, complete with brass tipped probably associated ramrod
